Very central location, market days are great - fresh fruit, cheese etc, coffee is strong and there is lots of good food nearby. Room itself is quite small, with small wc. Can get very noisy if you're trying to sleep.
We had a private double room. It was quite small, but efficient and very clean. The bathroom was about as large as the bedroom. The shower worked well but we could have used a mop to clean up the water on the floor. The restaurant staff was very helpful getting us checked in. The food in the restaurant was also delicious.
I came limping in on a Sunday afternoon after a real hard day's hike on the Camino from Foncebadon. I arrived just as the owners were about to have their Sunday afternoon meal with the family. They could not have been nicer. They put me in …
We had one room for three adults walking the Camino Frances:||Good localisation, but unfortunately a lot of noice inside the hotel.||A big room with good beds.||"Air conditioning" showed to be heater only. Would probably be very warm in the summer.
A great budget price hostal. The staff are brilliant as you check in at the café just to the right as you face the building. It's location on the west side of the river means you can walk the Camino route or just ignore the arrows and go direct when you hit the edge of town. Arrows send you extra 3km via Campo. The door system is brilliant and better than most hotels. I often deactivate my card. The room size is bang in line with the price but I only ever sleep in my room and use the bathroom which was large, but getting to it was a squeeze as I weigh 104kg! The lift was a god send. some hostels have a lot of noise but here was fairly quiet. The odd door and shower noise but nothing compared to an albergue.
I spent two nights here - a perfect place to rest after 3 weeks walking the Camino. I checked in at the reception/bar where I was greeted by a friendly bartender/manager. My room was located in an adjacent modern building. There was a lift …
I've arrived to this hostal after doing 40kms in the Santiago Way. It's 10 m walking to the castle, you have to cross the bridge. And it's kind of difficult to find because in fact the hostal are rooms in a building that is used only for …
Very small room, with two beds there was hardly room to walk around them. The room was also a bit on the shabby side, definitely in need of an update. There was an air conditioner in the room but it requires a remote control to operate it. There was no remote in the room. I had to leave the window open all night in an attempt to cool off.
